| It's been a while, I have directed my energies towards other online endeavours, and I will pretty much abandon Xanga for now.
I will be concentrating on myspace accounts: www.myspace.com/nicktomlin www.myspace.com/myspaceisthegreatsatan
And my wordpress poetry blog: iota.wordpress.com
This post is pretty useless, but I consider it a symbolic gesture. Peace,

| It has begun! I inagurate the beginning of a revolution, one that will free us from the dreaded shackles of myspace. I will fight the enemy from the inside, using their own devious social networking to bring them to their ruin. To join the cause, please visit www.myspace.com/myspaceisthegreatsatan.

On another note, I will (in earnest) be moving over to myspace relatively soon. The reason for this change is simply that I covet an artist account where I can merge blogs, friends and my own material together without using many different websites. This has been a hard decision for me, as I rather detest the myspace hysteria that seems to have swept the known world, but I feel that an open mind and a little bit of biting cynicism will help me to avoid becoming a mindless myspace peon (no offense to those of you who have myspaces, I do not consider you as such). Peace,

| Well, after 6 months, its finally happening. I'm leaving for the rez mission trip tommorow morning at 4 am (hmm hmm). I'm very excited/scared/worried/anxious, it should be an amazing experience. See you all in two weeks Peace,

| Finals are over. Summer class has begun (blech). I just got back from the Rez spring retreat sunday and it was truly amazing. I feel like the youth have really grown, and the change since i joined the group 3 and a halfish years ago is unbelievable. The only drawback is that i now have a cold of apocolyptic proportions that is a result of the massive allergy attack i had on the retreat (dusty moldy bunk rooms don't jive with my body). On a different note, i'm reading faulkner's sound and the fury and it is both amazing and incomprehensible in equal doses. I'm a hundred pages in, and still not sure exactly what is going on, but faulkner's writing is so excellent at conveying emotion that i think i'll put the energy into finishing it. Peace,

| only 3 more hellish weeks and then finals. hurray. And now for a little photoshop project that i've been working on, a little counter culture movement against myspace (not that i have anything against it, but i just like to be contrary).
 Peace,
